Birmingham Public Library Closed for Inventory Day
All Birmingham Public Libraries will be closed Thursday, December 15, for Inventory Day. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide high-quality library services, it is important to devote a day to housekeeping projects. Some of the projects include shifting books to create more space on the shelves, discarding books that are too damaged to circulate, and reading the shelves to insure that the books are in order. These projects are done to better serve our patrons for the coming year.
