African American History Makers : An Exhibit of Art Quilts
Aisha Lumumba’s quilts reflect her African heritage as well as the ups and downs of the American experience.   

The quilts will be on exhibit in the 4th Floor Gallery of the Central Library during regular business hours from January 4, 2012, to February 24, 2012.

Local Authors Expo is sponsored by the Friends of the Birmingham Public Library and provides an opportunity for local authors to sell and autograph their books. Included will be both adult and juvenile fiction and nonfiction titles.
